Together, We're Here to Help
the People of Maui
The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore has launched an emergency fund to aid in the relief efforts in Hawaii in response to the devastating wildfires that have struck the island of Maui. While the full scale of the damage is yet to be determined, we know that the humanitarian needs are enormous. Over 50 people have died, 1,000 are still missing and hospitals are overrun with those needing medical care. In addition, countless homes and buildings have been destroyed, and thousands of people have been displaced.
Our national partners are in touch with the local Jewish community in Hawaii which is led by a number of synagogues, Chabad and the Jewish Community Services of Hawaii. The Jewish Congregation of Maui has a report about events on the ground and its community’s immediate needs. Your support is urgently needed!
One hundred percent of your donation to The Associated's Maui Wildfire Emergency Relief Fund will go toward relief and recovery efforts. Funds will support food, shelter, medical supplies and basic needs for all those affected by the devastating wildfires in Maui.
